4 Weeks

Baby Girl graduated to size 1 diapers today.  It's a big day.  Last night was the best sleeping EVER.  She slept from 1:15 AM to 6:04 AM.  I was so excited.  She almost got fed again at 1:15 because you know she was STARVING.  Um, she'd just been fed at 11:00 PM.  Nice try Baby Girl.

3 Weeks and a first bath. All in the same day.

Miss Maya celebrated her three week birthday with a bath.  She didn't love it but didn't hate it either.  Check it out for yourself.  So, the real reason for the bath?  She hadn't pooped in 2.5 days and Mike was freaking out.  The nurse suggested a warm bath, you know, to relax those muscles.  I'm expecting poop everywhere.  Nothing.  Not a thing.    True to form, she pooped at midnight that night.    Did you know it's only good to poop in the middle of the night?  Who knew?

Check out the belly button, that smelly black thing finally fell off.  Thank goodness.  She wasn't very sweet smelling there for a few days.

Two Weeks Old

Here she is at 2 weeks.  Went to the doc yesterday.  The baby girl weighs in at 7 pounds 9 ounces.  She's gained a pound.

I experienced projectile spit up today for the very first time ever.  GROSS.  :)

I forgot to mention, as you can tell the stinky smelly umbilical cord is still here.

I'm going to try and do weekly photos so we can watch her plump up.  Here is the first one, check out the chicken legs.

3 Days old

Maya is three days old in this picture.  Uncle Jason took the photo.  He's pretty good at this!

Baby Maya is here.  She was born on January 11, 2009 at 1:48 pm.  She weighed 6 pounds 9 ounces and was 19 inches long.

We brought her home on January 13th.  What a great day.

She's doing really well.  She's a great eater and just wants to be snuggled with.

My Girls

I surprised my girls.  I had such a good time.  Katelyn was so surprised.  She kept saying "no way, no way."  I got the biggest hug from her.  I opened the door for her on Saturday and her mouth formed this perfect little "O" and jumped into my arms.  I love these girls.  I love being Aunt Jess to them.    I wasn't smart enough to bring my camera but here is a picture of them.
